Kiley & Matt :: 12/14/2019 :: Wedding in Agoura Hills

What a fun and colorful day it was for Kiley and Matt! The theme of the day centered around a wooded winter wonderland theme with touches of greenery, bright red florals and cozy romance! Their venue, The Lodge at Malibou Lake was a forest setting to apply all their whimsical touches, planned, organized and pulled off flawlessly by the fabulous Holly Gray. We started out with Kiley's details and her getting ready on location in the upstairs bridal suite. After Kiley had donned her beautifully bohemian dress, and had some finishing touches by her bridesmaids, she and Matt shared a sweet first look. Next we met up with the fun bridal party for some portraits on the venue's lawn and then spent some time with Kiley and Matt, wandering in and around the trees. Their short and sweet ceremony followed and after some fun moments, laughter, exchange of rings, smashing of the glass and first shot, these two were officially married! After cocktail hour, some golden hour photos and some socializing the bridal party made their grand entrance into the reception, Kiley and Matt went right into their first dance, followed by dinner, toasts and cake. After a rousing hora and some epic dancing, we stole the newlyweds away from the party for a romantic end of the night shot at the venue's front porch.  It was such a marveous day for such a wonderful couple, and we wish them many years of joy and happiness!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
