Morgan + David :::: Ernest E. Debs Regional Park

We have been through a crazy rollercoaster with these two!

I did an engagement session giveaway back at the beginning of 2020 and Morgan and David were my winners! We had their session all set and scheduled for March of 2020. Well, we all know how this is going to end.... anyways! Once the world started slowly returning to normal, these two reached out again and of course I was more than happy to still bless them with photos! For their session we went to one of their favorite spots where they like to bring breakfast burritos and check out the view! Ernest E. Debs Regional Park is a huge and expansive park but at the top of one of the hiking trails is this little hidden oasis with a small pond, beautiful trees and an amazing lookout view of DTLA. It was such a special spot and it is officially going on our recommendation list! We had a blast with these two (who were such naturals in front of the camera!) and it was such a pleasure to capture some romantic and fun moments. Also how gorgeous is Morgan's ring from Brilliant Earth? Seriously a stunner!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
