Adina + Jason :: 7/25/2021 :: Wedding in Oxnard

Wow it feels good to be back!

Adina and Jason are our second 2020 postponed couple to actually have their day and we are so excited to be back doing weddings! The theme of the day centered around a romantic beach tropical vibe with touches of blue and white. Their venue, the Embassy Suites Resort in Oxnard, was lush setting to apply all their romantic touches, planned, organized and pulled off flawlessly by the fabulous team at the hotel and their planner Cat Crenshaw. We started out with Adina's details and her getting ready in her suite. After Adina had donned her beautiful lace gown, and had some finishing touches by her bridesmaids, she and Jason shared a sweet first look. Next we met up with the fun bridal party for some portraits in the tropical lush hotel groups and then spent some time with Adina and Jason, wandering in and around the trees. Their Ketubah signing followed, filled with some sweet and emotional moments as these two were celebrated by their closest family members. Their sweet ceremony was filled with fun moments, laughter, exchange of rings, and prayers, and after stomping on the glass, these two were officially married! After some more beach portraits and socializing the bridal party made their grand entrance into the reception, Adina and Jason went right into their first dance, followed by speeches, dinner, toasts, cake and some tosses! After the hora, we stole the newlyweds away from the party for a romantic end of the night shot at the venue's grand staircase.  It was such a marveous day for such a wonderful couple, and we wish them many years of joy and happiness!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
