Ernesto + Anthony :: 8/14/2021 :: Wedding in Los Angeles

What a beautiful day it was for Ernesto + Anthony! These two had already tied the knot last year in an intimate elopement, but it was finally time to party with all their nearest and dearest. The theme of the day centered around an industrial geometric vibe with touches of blue, green, white and gold. Their venue, The East Angel in the arts district DTLA, was the perfect blank slate for all their incredible plans and embellishments, organized and pulled off flawlessly by the fabulous Rock n' Willow Events. We started out with the details and the two grooms getting ready together in their suite at the venue. We did some photos of Ernesto and Anthony around the venue and then met up with their immediate family for more portraits. Their ceremony followed, filled with some sweet and emotional moments, laughter, exchange of rings, poetry readings, prayers, and after the sweetest personal vows, these two were married (again!)! After a fun cocktail hour with snacks, drinks, and socializing the grooms joined for some more portraits at their arch and socializing. Their reception followed with a delicious dinner followed by speeches, their first dance, dancing with the moms, the money dance and cake. It was such a marveous day for such a wonderful couple, and we wish them many years of joy and happiness!

Our first to two weddings this year and boy oh boy was it a good one (despite the unseasonably warm heat!). Sasha and Brenden tied the knot at the stunning Muckenthalar Mansion , just a few miles from our home! Our day with the couple started with their first look, wedding party and couple's portraits. Before we knew it, it was ceremony time. After one of the quickest (but sweetest!) ceremonies ever, featuring a "first shot" of tequila, these two were officially official! After family photos and some detail shots it was time to party. During the reception their guests enjoyed dinner, speeches, cake cutting, parent dances and creating a custom work of abstract art for the couple to hang in their home! Once the dance floor was opened with a giant group shot, we stole the couple away for some magical golden hour photos at the end of our time with them. A beautiful end for a stunning day! Another postponed wedding couple that finally got to have their day! YAYYYYYY! This was the most wonderful pink wedding of my dreams and every detail was off the charts!  Their venue, Ruby Street in Highland Park,  was a perfect setting to apply all their incredible colorful touches and to have a fun, beautiful day! We started out with Cheri's details and getting ready at the venue. After Cherie had donned her incredible pink and sparkly Lazaro gown and Max was all suited up in his custom pink suit, these two shared their first look!  After some more photos around the venue and meeting up with their wedding party, it was finally time for their sweet and short ceremony. Yasmin & Kaitlyn :::: Newlywed Session in Joshua Tree

Back in November, I put out a model call in the SBSN Facebook group offering free sessions for LGBTQ+ couples to add more beautiful couples to our portfolio that reflect our beliefs as LGBTQ+ allies! Yasmin was one of the first to respond and we planned this amazing golden hour session in Joshua Tree with her and her beautiful wife Kaitlyn! These two were such troopers in the wind and the cold and we got some amazing photos in this amazing place. The love and energy between them is electric and that even came through with a few static shocks that Yasmin gave Kaitlyn when I gave them a cheek kiss prompt! So cute!
