Andrea + Jake :: 9/11/2021 :: Wedding in Highland Park, Los Angeles

What a beautiful day it was for Andrea and Jake! They had a beautiful micro wedding at The Fig House in Highland Park, a colorful jewel of a space in LA! The theme of the day centered around a modern, boho geometric vibe with touches of blue, green, white and gold and Star Wars. We started out with a few floral and venue details and then the couple's first look. We did portraits around the venue and then their guests arrived for the ceremony. The ceremony was filled with some sweet and emotional moments, crossed lightsabers to show two becoming one, laughter, exchange of rings, prayers, and after the sweetest personal vows, these two were married! After a fun cocktail hour with drinks and some socializing, we snuck these two away for some more portraits. Their reception followed with their first dance, a delicious dinner, dancing and cake. Thanks to some wonderful bridesmaids, we were able to get a magical bubble photo with the newlyweds to end our night. It was such a marvelous day for such a wonderful couple, and we wish them many years of joy and happiness!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
