Grace + Dillon :: 1/22/22 :: Wedding in Los Angeles

Another postponed wedding couple that finally got to have their day! YAY!

The theme of the day centered around color color and more color mixed with traditional Swedish touches and personalized details! Their venue, The 20th Century Women's Club, was a perfect setting to apply all their extra touches and to have a fun, colorful, garden wedding. We started out with Grace's details and getting ready at a nearby hotel with one of our favorite HMUA, Sarah! After Grace had donned her beautiful gown (and traditional Swedish crown) we met up with Dillon and some family and friends at Plaza Las Fuentes for a super vibrant first look! After some more photos around the plaza, Pasadena City Hall (across the street) and at the venue it was finally time for their sweet ceremony. Can we talk about the florals for a second? Believe it or not it was Flowers and Resistance's first wedding and she knocked it out of the park! Their wonderful ceremony was filled with laughter, personal vows, exchange of rings, and finally these two were officially married! After some more family portraits and golden hour portraits these two made their grand entrance into the reception, for their first dance and dinner! The reception details were so much fun, with personalized table numbers created by the father of the bride-- each one a unique piece of art! Speaking of art, we finally got to work with incredible cake artist Nicole Bakes Cakes on a real wedding and her cake was nothing short of magnificent! Near the end of our coverage time, we stole the newlyweds away from the party for a romantic end of the night shot at the venue's front door. It was such a marvelous day for such a wonderful couple, and we wish them many years of joy and happiness!

Sasha + Brenden :: 6/22/24 :: Wedding in Fullerton

Our first to two weddings this year and boy oh boy was it a good one (despite the unseasonably warm heat!). Sasha and Brenden tied the knot at the stunning Muckenthalar Mansion , just a few miles from our home! Our day with the couple started with their first look, wedding party and couple's portraits. Before we knew it, it was ceremony time. After one of the quickest (but sweetest!) ceremonies ever, featuring a "first shot" of tequila, these two were officially official! After family photos and some detail shots it was time to party. During the reception their guests enjoyed dinner, speeches, cake cutting, parent dances and creating a custom work of abstract art for the couple to hang in their home! Once the dance floor was opened with a giant group shot, we stole the couple away for some magical golden hour photos at the end of our time with them. A beautiful end for a stunning day! Maya & Satish :::: Engagement Session at Carbon Canyon Redwoods

Like many couples these days, these two cuties met online and the rest is history! After getting engaged earlier this year, they are planning a dual wedding incorporating traditional and western celebrations which will be so unique and beautiful! For their session they wanted to incorporate their pup Cybil (the shepherd mix) as she has been a huge part of their relationship from the very beginning and two different outfits reflecting their two celebrations.
