Jen & Gary :::: Engagement Session at Pasadena City Hall

We love when we find clients who are just as weird (maybe even weirder) than us! Jen and Gary are just that and we could not be more excited to document their love! These two met in HS, in marching band (nerd vibes already!) and have been through multiple moves throughout their relationship from the east coast for college, back to the bay area for school and family, and finally landing here in Socal for jobs. They actually got engaged in wayyyy back in 2015 and Jen bought herself the ring (same girl, lol) and they are so excited to finally tie the knot after 9 years together! For their engagement session we toured the incredible and always busy Pasadena City Hall for the most romantic and gorgeous archetectural details. Both of Jen's dresses had pockets and Gary has a hilarious compulsion to put his hands in her pockets, so of course, that needed to be documented in earnest-- keep your eyes out for those. We had the best of times and we can't wait for their wedding in NorCal this December!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
