Melanie + Bryan :: 6/18/22 :: Wedding in Orange

The theme of the day centered around personalized details and a wedding that was colorful with blue touches in a way that was authentically them! Their venue, The Orange Hills Restaurant, was a perfect setting to apply all their extra touches and to have a fun, colorful, intimate wedding. We started out with Melanie's details and getting ready at a nearby Airbnb with one bridesmaid Zooming into the festivities after unfortunately getting sick. After Melanie had donned her beautiful gown we met up with Bryan and their wedding party and extended friend group at Irvine Regional Park on a busy busy day at the park. Thankfully we were able to photograph in a way that didn’t show the crowds as it was packed! After some more photos around the park, it was finally time for their sweet ceremony which was filled with laughter, personal vows, exchange of rings, and finally these two were officially married! After some more family portraits these two joined their cocktail hour, played some fun corn hole and then joined their guests in the ballroom for their first dance, speeches and dinner.Near the end of our coverage time, we stole the newlyweds away from the party for romantic golden hour photos. It was such a marvelous day for such a wonderful couple, and we wish them many years of joy and happiness!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
