Sarah + Clay :: 7/16/22 :: Wedding in Los Angeles
Sarah and Clay had THE most fun, personal and colorful wedding of our summer so far! I couldn't have imagined spending my birthday with a more fun crew this year!
These two tied the knot at our favorite natural light, blank space industrial venue, The East Angel and they combined so many of their favorite things from cameos by their kitties everywhere, to the colorful attire and decor to creating a whole prize giving out event at the beginning of the reception-- it was a day that was so perfectly them. All the events of the day took place at the venue and it's clean and tropical vibe lended itself perfectly to the mood of the day. After capturing personal details (yes, Sarah's dress is RAINBOW) and getting dressed, Sarah and Clay shared their laughter-filled first look and then we took wedding party portraits around the venue. After some newlywed portraits and some more detail photos, it was time for these two to exchange their vows. Their wonderful ceremony was filled with laughter, personal vows, the exchange of rings, and finally the kiss! After the family photos and some more details of the incredible reception decor, these two entered with style into their party and were met with some sweet personal speeches. Their prize game followed and had the crowd crying with laughter. After everyone was well fed at the Kogi BBQ truck and multiple food stations, there were a few more speeches, a first dance and then the party got underway! Near the end of our coverage time, we stole the newlyweds away from the party with our flash for a romantic end of the night shot at the base of the newly opened 6th Street Bridge juuuuust as the sun was setting. It was such a marvelous day for such a wonderful couple, and we wish them many years of joy and happiness!
