Amy and Nick are so so sweet! We were honored to be a part of Amy's sister's wedding two and half years ago (hooray for Laura and Charles !) and we are so excited for Amy and Nick's turn! These two met while in school together (they are both teachers/teachers in training) and they just got engaged this last Christmas! For their shoot they wanted to visit some place woodsy with gorgeous light so of course we thought of the redwood grove in Carbon Canyon. They also brought their pup Max, who of course stole every photo he was in. We had a blast and we are so excited for their upcoming wedding in July! Click any image to launch a larger viewing window. This inspiration shoot was inspired by the sleek lines of mid-century modern style coupled with the perfect tropical beach vibe.  The combination provided a laid back setting with a chic look that was also fun and colorful! The collaboration by all of the vendors was absolutely amazing.  Each professional provided their expertise and it was beautiful to see it come together.  S Gilded Swan Paperie provided the invitations, menus and place cards.  Her design incorporated the colorful yet muted colors that are prominent in midcentury design.  The use of tropical leaves and flowers were reminiscent of postcards from Hawaii in the 1950s.
